Cultivating a Hockey Community in the Mid-South.

There is no worse feeling than watching a family agonize over whether to travel 2-plus hours, multiple times a week, to a neighboring city, so their child can continue playing hockey, or make the decision to quit the game because the local organization doesn’t have enough players to field a team - neither of which is optimal.

The Mid-South Amateur Hockey Association (MAHA) was created in the fall of 2022 to help build a program that can accommodate all ages and skill-levels throughout a player’s journey, from Mini-Mite to Midget. While we have encountered roadblocks towards or goal, we are committed to seeing MAHA through to a viable nonprofit organization with the sole purpose of growing the game in the Mid-South.
